How to tune into your True Self for happiness

Happiness is essential to our Spiritual wellbeing, that’s why it’s important that we learn to live from the aspect of our True Self (Soul).  At this level of existence our understanding and perception is based on a higher wisdom and Power and so our thoughts are of a higher order.

In fact, it’s the condition of the True Self, the upstream aspect, which influences the mind and in turn our thinking.

Therefore, the brighter the True Self, the happier our thinking. In light of this it makes sense to learn to tune into the True Self, then the mind will improve naturally.

In reality we have two choices. To be happy and bright by tuning into our True Self, or to use our ego mind, which often leads to negativity and judgment.

It makes sense to tune into the True Self

To access the wisdom and Power of your True Self I’ve found the following practices to be helpful:

  • Be truthful
  • Be grateful
  • Be humble
  • Be accepting
  • Do the appropriate  thing
  • Speak kindly to yourself and to others
  • Offer apology when necessary
  • Be altruistic
  • Be respectful
  • Stop judging

I would add here that it’s important to put these practices into action everyday to experience their power, it’s not enough to just know about them.

These are practices which will help you to tune into that quiet inner voice; the one that’s trying to guide you in the right direction.
